Between Disney Hall and the Broad Museum, this intersection has plenty of architectural "wow," factor. This is pretty amazing news and for as much as I like Gehry's work, Robert A.M Stern understands urbanism much better, and will probably create a building that functions as well as it looks - whereas Gehry creates sculptures that will pretty have no contextual hold for the area in which they are placed.
